Decor Trends 2024
In times that are perceived as uncertain, or when people are stressed, worried or not content, their homes are more important to them than ever before.
Retreating into the familiar surroundings of their own four walls gives them strength and a feeling of security. Their design and furnishings are very individual and meet their requirements with regard to what they need in terms of functionality and space, but also ambience and atmosphere. Every personality needs a different environment to escape to and relax in; the following interior design and furnishing styles make this particularly clear.
Furniture that is still in good condition often continues to be used and combined in a different way with new pieces. The respective attitude with regard to the sustainable use of resources may well play a role in this respect, as well as financial aspects. The range of interior design styles is varied and they are all in fashion simultaneously; the woods that were popular in the past few years are still trendy - there is no reason to change them.
Plain shades are therefore the go-to solution when it comes to adding new accents. Each interior design style focuses on particular colours. Understated nuances somewhere in between grey and beige, off-white and contrasts provided by anthracite therefore continue to remain highly contemporary; they are completed by new taupe shades with green and blue in a mid- to low level of lightness. They are joined by various new earthy shades – chromatically, these range from burnt orange and caramel to terracotta and powder, all the way to diffuse nuances of brown. Pastel shades also play a role again.
Pfleiderer's collection of plain colours has been reviewed and consists of 146 trendy HPL and melamine colour match shades.
