Sustainable kitchens for a sustainable new neighborhood

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which were laid down by the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda, are a global plan to promote peace and prosperity and to protect our planet. A Danish property developer wanted to know how this ambitious program can be incorporated into architecture and has realized a construction project in line with the 17 SDGs with the UN17 Village. 800 people now live there on the outskirts of Copenhagen in five building complexes. The kitchens in their new, sustainable home come from Rotpunkt Küchen, the exclusive kitchen supplier for this construction project, which also uses materials from Pfleiderer for its kitchens. We spoke to Managing Director Andreas Wagner about his company's sustainability goals.
