More than just a museum
"It's not unusual for us to furnish objects with a high external impact," explains Stefan Brommler, who heads the object consulting department of the engineered wood manufacturer: "But this project has already made many Pfleiderer hearts beat faster. Stefan is correspondingly proud of how many different decors from the Pfleiderer collection are used in the football temple: Platinum grey, anthracite, crystal white, volcanic black, white grey and Noce Milano, a fine walnut reproduction. All on high-pressure laminate from Arnsberg.
According to the plans of TRIAD Berlin, Lindner Objektdesign has created a representative and multimedia world of experience. "With HPL they have made the right choice", confirms Stefan: "Because this material is extremely hard-wearing and durable. This is all the more important as the number of visitors far exceeds all expectations". And last but not least, Stefan points out that children are also welcome here: "Furniture has to withstand even more than in ordinary museums.
Stefan, who was already on site to be impressed by himself of the effect of Pfleiderer materials, finds that "this perfectly orchestrated interplay of exhibits, film, sound, light and material brings history to life. It arouses emotions". True to the museum's motto: "We are football!
